Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on behalf of UGC has organized National Eligibility Test (NET) exam on 10th July. The exam was held in 90 NET examination cities all across the country. Scores of contenders aspiring to be eligible for Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship into Indian Universities and colleges have appeared for the exam. All the aspirants who took CBSE NET exam are avidly waiting for the results release. The latest update is that CBSE on behalf of UGC will announce the results in late November.

Candidates who have appeared for CBSE NET exam in July 2016 will be able to check their results by visiting the authoritative site. Candidates, in order to fetch their results, need to provide their particulars like roll number and date of birth in the specified fields. The result will be displayed on the screen. Candidates can take a printout of the result for future use. CBSE UGC NET exam was held on 10th July for all the states of the country except for Srinagar. NET was held on 28th July in.
Soon after CBSE NET exam is completed in July, The board is engaged in preparing the schedule for NET 2017 exam. In January, CBSE has invited applications from the aspirants for UGC NET 2017 exam. The registrations for CBSE UGC NET 2017 exam are now open. Interested and eligible candidates can go to the official web portal to apply.
