CBIT Headstart Capture the Flag 21 & 22 October 2016

CBIT Headstart :Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology (CBIT) is one of the top-notch engineering colleges in Hyderabad. The Department of Computer Science and Engineering CSE) students of CBIT are conducting technical festival under the name of ‘Headstart’ this year.  The department is organizing ‘Capture The flat’ event under this tech fest.

CBIT Headstart Capture the Flat event will be held both online and on the site i.e., in the CBIT Campus in Hyderabad. The students of CSE department have invited student’s hackers on Bugcrowd platform to participate in the capture the flag event.  CBIT Headstart CTF is the concept that will test the ability of the candidates in basic programming as well as general IQ and also computer knowledge.

CBIT Headstart Capture the Flat event on 21st  and 22nd October this year

CBIT Headstart Capture the Flat event consists of two rounds. The first round comprises of questions that will range from easy to difficult ones.  The twist in the paper is that there will be a clue provided for each question which can be used by the candidate to solve difficult questions.

The event conducting dates were also released by the conducting department.  Round 1 is slated to be held on 21st October at 10:30 AM.  The time duration for the first round will be about 2 to 3 hours.  Qualified candidates of the first round will be promoted to round 2 where the challenges will be offered by CTF sponsor ‘BUGCROWD’.

Round 2 is slated to be held on 22nd October at 10:30 AM. As per the broacher released by the CSE department, there are many exciting prizes, goodies, and certificates that will be awarded to the students who emerge as winners.
