Flipkart is gearing up for Big Billion day starting 2nd October up until 6th October . Amazon is all set for its Great Indian Festival from October 1-5. Snapdeal is busy prepping for its own Diwali Sale. Meanwhile, ShopClues has a master plan of its own.
On Friday 23rd October, ShopClues joined hands with Reliance Jio on its “Jio Welcome Offer”.
SHOPCLUES + RELIANCE = FREE JIO SIMS:
Okay, without any verbosity, here’s the ShopClues deal for getting Free Jio SIMs.
Customers who buy a 4G enabled smart phone that is also Jio Service-eligible only on ShopClues website, can get a Free Jio SIM card from any one of the Reliance Digital/ Digital Express/ Digital Express Mini stores.

Which means, that the customer will only need to carry their bill/invoice of the 4G and Jio enabled mobile purchase made from ShopClues and go straight to one of the stores mentioned above, and then can obtain a Jio SIM card for free.
Of course, this Jio SIM card will be activating “Jio Welcome Offer”.
JIO WELCOME OFFER DETAILS:
As part of the “Jio Welcome Offer”, users can experience Free Voice Calls, HD Video Calls, messaging, free 4G data until December 31st 2016.
Of course, there will be a daily data limit of 4GB, exceeding which, data rates will drop to 124 kbps.
SHOPCLUES’ WISE MOVE :
Reliance Jio SIMs were initially given to customers with Address proofs.
This policy later saw a change by asking only for Aadhar Cards.

So, clearly, this led to Jio SIMs going out of stock at the digital stores in no time.
At a time like this, ShopClues’ decision to give away free Jio SIMs on purchase of 4G mobiles from their website, is a move that can literally draw huge audience to their website for this deal.
WHY RELIANCE CONSIDERED SHOPCLUES :
Why would Reliance trust ShopClues with their biggest arsenal of Jio SIMs, when there are clearly better and bigger alternatives like Flipkart and Amazon.

Well, Reliance must be commended to choose ShopClues and not Amazon adn Flipkart, because it could see the inevitable : Flipkart and Amazon will most probably be down/ operate at slower speeds due to their oncoming Great Indian Festival and Big Billion Day, respectively.
So, ShopClues is their best bet, if they are willing to go online with Jio SIM sales.
