Mecca Masjid bomb blast: After 11 years Court verdict today

After 11 years A special National Investigation Agency (NIA) court in Hyderabad will announce its verdict on Monday in the case of Mecca Masjid attack. The sensational Mecca Masjid attack happened during Friday prayers in 2007 on May 18. In the attack, nine persons were killed and 58 were injured. At the of blast nearly 10,000  10,000 people were present inside the masjid.

The attack took place at the iconic mosque, Mecca Masjid at Charminar due to the blast of  Improvised Explosive device (IED) bomb. The blast caused to the death of nine people and had left 58 injured. Later the Local police had found two live IED and later they defused the bombs. After the eleven years of the Mecca Masjid blast, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) court is expected to give the verdict on the case.

Initially, the case investigated by the local police. Later the case took over by the Central  Bureau Of Investigation (CBI).CBI had filed a charge sheet regarding this case. In 2011 the case transferred from the Central  Bureau Of Investigation (CBI) to National Investigation Agency (NIA).

NIA had named 10 people as accused in this case and belonging to the right-wing organisations. Five out of ten accused men aarrested and faced trial in the case. The five accused men are Devendra Gupta, Lokesh Sharma, Swami Aseemanand alias Naba Kumar Sarkar, Bharat Mohanlal Rateshwar alias Bharat Bhai and Rajendra Chowdhary.

Total 226 witnesses have examined and as many as 411 documents exhibited. Swami Aseemanand and Bharat Mohanlal Rateshwar are out on bail. The other three are in prison.

The police have tightened the security in Hyderabad. The police have asked to tighten the security to maintain law and order in the city. One of the accused  Sunil Joshi died during the investigation. In Ajmer Dargah blast case Rajasthan court sentenced Gupta and others to life in jail in 2017.

PM ‘Modi destroyed banking system’: Rahul Gandhi Says on Cash Crunch

Congress President Rahul Gandhi blamed Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi for the Cash Crunch across the country. The Congress chief Rahul Gandhi said the Cash Crunch across the country is because Modi has destroyed the Banking System.

Rahul Gandhi said At the time of Demonetisation PM Modi made us stand in a queue as Modi snatched Rs 500-1,000 notes from our pockets and put them in Nirav Modi’s pocket. Nirav Modi runs away with Rs 30,000 crore to abroad. But Prime Minister Modi did not take any action.

Rahul Gandhi said Modi’s government is responsible for the situation. People of various states including  Delhi, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra, Bihar are facing a lot of problems due to the Cash Crunch with ATM’s working out of notes across the country.

Rahul said PM Modi’s government and their policies are not for the poor people of the country they are for the rich people of the country.

Earlier on this day the Finance Minister Arun Jaitley responded on the Cash Crunch situation in the country. Arun Jaitley said that the Cash Crunch problem is the temporary problem and it will be tackled soon. This Cash Crunch is caused due to the Sudden and Unusual increase in some areas Arun Jaitly said.

PM Modi in Sweden for the first India-Nordic summit

Prime Minister  Narendra Modi has arrived in Sweden at 9:30 p.m. (local time) on Monday.  Prime Minister Modi received by Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Löfven on arrival in Stockholm the capital of Sweden. Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Lofven broke his protocol to receive PM Modi at the airport.After Rajiv Gandhi PM Modi is the first Prime Minister visit Sweden from India in 30 years. Former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi had visited Sweden in 1988.

PM Modi in Sweden to attend the first India-Nordic summit. He will meet the Prime Ministers of Denmark, Finland, Iceland, and Norway. Both Prime Ministers of India and Sweden will focus on bilateral agreements. Later Modi will attend the roundtable of Swedish CEO’s.

Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Raveesh Kumar wrote in his twitter “Scripting history! PM @narendramodi arrives in Stockholm on a first bilateral visit by an Indian PM in 30 years to a warm and personal welcome by @SwedishPM Stefan Lofven at the airport and to participate in the first ever India-Nordic Summit,”

Later Nordic Prime Minister will hold a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Modi on April 17. Modi will go to the United Kingdom to attend the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) on April 19-20. From Sweden Modi will travel to Britain to hold a bilateral meeting with British Prime Minister Theresa May on April 18.

Modi will stay four days in London and will meet the Queen at Buckingham Palace.PM Modi will give his speech from the iconic Central Hall Westminster near the UK Parliament. In this event, he will take the questions and it will be live telecasted.

Modi will return from Britain on April 20. While he returns from Britain he will meet German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

65th National Film Awards: Here is the list of Winners



65th National Film Awards

Awards will be given to a person or team or organisation for their talent and their contribution in their respective fields. 65th National Film Awards were announced by the jury headed by a famous filmmaker Shekhar Kapur on Friday (April 13)  afternoon.

Shekhar Kapur said the quality of Regional films amazed me. Late Sri Devi won the best actress award for the film MOM. Vinod Khanna was given Dadasaheb Phalke Award posthumously for his contribution to Indian cinema.

The jury members including actress Gautami Tadimalla, lyricist Mehboob, screenwriter Imtiaz Hussain, Kannada director P Sheshadri, Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, Ranjit Das, Rajesh Mapuskar, Tripurari Sharma and Rumi Jaffrey.

Awards are something like energy booster for the actors and it also enhances their acting skills. Awards encourage people to give the best performance in their respective fields. 65th National Film Award ceremony will be held on May 3.

Outrage Protest over brutal rape $ murder of on 8-Year old girl Asifa

The body of Asifa Bano an 8-Year old girl was found in a forest on January 17 near Kathua city in Jammu and Kashmir. National wide protest raising over the brutal rape and murder of an 8-Year old girl. The police have arrested Eight persons who involved in the death of Asifa. Arrested people including Four policemen, a retired government officer and a juvenile.

According to the charge sheet, the 8- year old girl Asifa was drugged before she was brutally gang-raped and then she was killed by the gang. Chargesheet revealed that one of the accused said that he wanted to rape the girl again before she was killed.

Rahul Gandhi midnight Candlelight vigil:

Rahul Gandhi President of Congress led a Candlelight vigil at midnight at New Delhi to demand a justice for an eight-year-old girl who was brutally raped and murdered by a group of men in Jammu and Kashmir. He said it is a crime against Humanity.

Congress President Rahul Gandhi said in his tweet that the accused should be punished. He tweeted “How can anyone protect the culprits of such evil? What happened to Asifa at #Kathua is a crime against humanity. It cannot go unpunished. What have we become if we allow politics to interfere with such unimaginable brutality perpetrated on an innocent child?”

How innocent Asifa was killed:

Asifa was an Eight-year-old girl kidnapped by a group of men when she was grazing the horses on January 10. She belonged to the Bakarwal Muslim community. She was sedated and repeatedly gang-raped for days by a group of police officers before she was killed.  Even she was not given food since kidnapped.

Before they bashed her head with a stone one of the accused policed officer asked he wanted to rape her again before she was killed. Among the accused men a retired revenue department official also involved in this brutal crime.
