There’s a new addition to the family, so prepare your Grand Zyon condo and take safety measures for when the baby comes home by doing these tips.
Living room
Prepare your living room by installing safety items such as baby gates if you have stairs so the baby won’t go up and potentially get injured. Put corner covers on furniture edges so the baby won’t bump their head. Set a safe place in the living room for the baby like a play mat, crib or cradle.
Bathroom
Buy baby essentials for bathing like baby soap, shampoo, towels that have hoods, toys and a baby tub so you can place your baby down while you are bathing. For safety measures, lay down a non-slip mat, and put things like shavers in the bathroom far from reach. Install covers for faucets and locks for toilet seats.
Kitchen
Have a high chair ready and invest in baby food/ milk so that you have something to feed your baby. Use plastic bowls or plates for the baby to avoid glass shattering and leaving glass shards on the floor that can injure you and the baby.
It is advised to store all the essential needs of the baby like bottles and bib in a cabinet. Baby proof your kitchen by keeping knives, forks and other sharp or dangerous utensils away. Implement safety locks in your cabinet to keep house cleaners clear from view, and on the fridge to avoid any injury.
Nursery
This is where the baby will be sleeping and be in most of the time, so make sure it is organized and clean, keeping it clear of dirt, dust and other allergens. Choose a light color like baby blue and fix the crib to make it comfy as possible, and add tables that you can use for nappy changes.
