Bichon Frise
A medium-sized dog breed characterized by its pure white coat, the Bichon Frise is a gentle laptop. Perhaps its most defining feature is its hypoallergenic coat and how its hair turns curly over time. With the right cut, the bichon frise can assume the shape of a poodle, with a cute circular coat along its face. Temperament-wise, this dog loves human companionship and is great around kids.
Pug
The pug is a polarizing breed- either people don’t like it or they do. Physical aspects aside, the pug is bred for human companionship and they shine best in a condo setting. Owners should take special care to ensure their pets are well-hydrated and not exposed to a hot environment. Other than that, pugs do not require any other special care and will reward their owners with plenty of love and attention.
Maltese
Similar to a Bichon Frise, the Maltese breed is defined by a white coat and a happy disposition. Frequent trips to a groomer are needed to keep the thick coat nice and healthy. Find a nearby park in your condo and take your pet on frequent walks to keep this breed happy.
Shih Tzu
Shih Tzus are popular mainstay pets in condos. They are elegant and pretty much quiet and laid-back. Effort is needed to keep their coats long and shiny. Because they’re prone to overheating it’s best to regulate their environment as much as you can.
