In an activity as strenuous as moving house, you’ll need to keep your energy and health up to optimal levels. Luckily, there are snacks that can give you a quick recharge as you start the process of settling into your Union Square Residences condo. Have one, or all of these on hand to get the job done more efficiently.

Fruit Smoothie

If you have the time, you can prepare a quick smoothie using a blender, some slices of fruit, and ice. This drink can hydrate, give you much-needed vitamins, and won’t contain any harmful stuff. It’s easy to make as well.

Dark Chocolate

A bar of dark chocolate serves as a quick snack for healthy bursts of energy. Compared to milk chocolate and energy bars, dark chocolate is much healthier and does not contain excessive amounts of sugar. Just make sure to store it in a relatively cool place so it won’t melt and leave a mess.

Trail Mix

Trail mix packs are readily available in supermarkets and grocery stores. They are usually comprised of nuts, seeds, and pieces of chocolate, and all of them offer a variety of vitamins and minerals. Best of all, they’re portable and tend to last a long time.

Salad

Salads are versatile as you can have them as breakfast, light lunch, or a snack. Moreover, you can choose the components, from lettuce to carrots and even grains such as quinoa. Stay light on the dressing and you’ll be absorbing the nutrients to help you power through the move.

Water

Last but not least, water consumption should be consistent throughout the day. Hydrate and keep your mind and body refreshed with around 8 glasses a day, and more if you’re doing heavy activities such as moving boxes and furniture.
